Der Neuanfang für unsere Gemeinde
A new beginning for our community
Die alte Moschee in Farato Babylon war über die Jahre baufällig geworden und bot der wachsenden Gemeinde keinen sicheren Raum mehr. Nach gründlicher Prüfung blieb nur der Abriss, um Platz für einen stabilen Neubau zu schaffen. Unser Ziel ist es, den Menschen vor Ort wieder ein sicheres, einladendes religiöses und soziales Zentrum zu schenken.
The old mosque in Farato Babylon had become dilapidated over the years and no longer provided a safe space for the growing community. After careful consideration, the only option left was demolition to make room for a sturdy new building. Our goal is to give the local people a safe, welcoming religious and social center once again.

The foundation has been laid
Ein bedeutender erster Meilenstein ist erreicht: Das Fundament für die neue Moschee wurde erfolgreich errichtet. Nun stehen die nächsten Bauphasen bevor, für die dringend weiteres Baumaterial wie Zement, Steine und Bewehrungsstahl benötigt wird. Jeder Bauabschnitt bringt uns dem fertigen Gotteshaus einen Schritt näher.
A significant first milestone has been reached: the foundation for the new mosque has been successfully laid. Now the next construction phases are coming up, for which we urgently need more building materials like cement, stones, and reinforcing steel. Each construction phase brings us one step closer to the finished house of worship.

We are supporting the project with close contact with the construction managers in Gambia. To ensure full transparency, we regularly document every construction progress online. This way, you can follow exactly how your donations and provided building materials are making an impact on site.
